How long will it take:

Sea / FCL or LCL:

• Shared loose groupage container:
• Perth – 10 to 14 weeks
• Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide or Brisbane – 11 to 15 weeks

Air – most destinations:

Can I bring my car?

Customs Duty and/or Goods and Services Tax (GST) is payable on all motor vehicles and import approval must be gained prior to shipment, otherwise your vehicle will be re-exported or could even destroyed and a hefty fine imposed. Import approval is also required for such items as mini motorbikes, quad bikes, ride on mowers and motorised scooters.

Can I bring my pets?

As a starting point a good place to go for advice on taking dogs, cats and other pets down under is to the Australia Government website at the following address http://www.agriculture.gov.au/cats-dogs

Regardless of who you ultimately choose to help with your move we would always recommend that you choose a reputable British Association of Removers member company and get them involved in the process as soon as possible.

Get a number of quotations, and keep notes about each company you speak to. Be sure you know exactly what service, volume and transit times they are quoting on, to make certain you are comparing like with like.
