Looking back on an exceptionally busy 2021 there have been some very notable moves during the year, one of which was to the beautiful Swiss mountain village of Saas Fee.
The village which sits high in the Swiss Alps near the Italian border happens to be “vehicle free”. This meant that the final leg saw Clark & Rose staff deliver our client’s possessions using electric vehicles, not too dissimilar to mini electric milk floats. The vehicles are used to ferry freight and supplies from a central receiving area to the doors of households and businesses throughout the village.
This was a first for C & R and whilst we don’t yet have an electric vehicle in the fleet it may be the shape of things to come.
